Tunnel

Picture
Directly following their death, each audience member is led to the “Tunnel” which they enter alone, or with those with whom they “died”.  They are given a robe which connects all the audience members in a rite of passage into the next stage.  A curtain opens into a long hallway.  Fabric of blues and greens, the same as in “The Sea” to come, covers the walls, ceiling, and floor.  The fabric shifts and flows softly around the audience.   On the sides of the fabric-covered hall, there are shadows, silhouettes.  Some are recognizable as human figures, others are not.  They move with or follow the audience member down the long hallway to the end where a blue green light is glowing.
